Data Acquisition and Processing (DASP)

The DAPS module will cover technology, principles and applications of data collection, preparation, and storage for data science systems. In particular, the module will cover a wide range of topics such as sampling theory and practice, analogue-to-digital and digital-to-analogue converters technology, data collection and database query and processing, graph-based processing, and hardware architectures for data processing.

The module will also encompass lab sessions so that students can learn how to apply the underlying principles to address problems in the area of data acquisition, preparation and processing


Internet of Things

This short course is designed to give you the technical knowledge and skills to build Internet of Things (IoT) systems.
It’s highly practical, with 75% of the technical content delivered during lab sessions. In these sessions you’ll do exercises involving system design, device programming and cloud development.


A new MSc on Integrated Machine Learning Systems starting this Fall 2019!

This MSc Programme teaches how to engineer the machine learning systems that will form the basis of our economies, society and industry in the next few decades. It offers students the know-how necessary to pursue a wide variety of careers in the general field of integrated machine learning systems engineering in start-ups, well-established companies, or indeed research.
